Solid, hangs nicelyHas a good solid weight to it but my husband wore it for less than an hour and a small piece has chipped off showing what looks to be rust. He didn't hit it on anything to cause the damage either. Totally disappointed.I just got it delivered today and I must sayit exceeded my expectations. The details and the quality is awesome. I'm wearing this everyday now.It would have been great if it was good and silver mix (center piece in gold).Absolutely beautiful and actually stainless steel which is nice given some jewelry says stainless but isnt. This piece is really high quality!This piece was well made. Looks cool and easily concealable for casual wear.Although a little small on the pendant size. Still, it looks good. Quite happy with it.I've worn this necklace several times a week, day long in warm weather for over a month now. My skin tends to be very caustic toward metals and will fairly quickly eat the finish off (for example) the back of a watch. This necklace has held up well, keeping its finish both on the chain and the pendant itself. The 22 inch wheat chain is rather fine compared to the size of the pendant, although it is quite capable of holding this pendant as it is sturdy and not easily broken. The best part about this necklace is of course the pendant, it has the design on both sides which is awesome and is incredibly detailed. It is a pretty good size pendant to and very sturdy stainless steel. I chose the silver colour as I thought that it highlighted in accented the details of the Wolf embossed on this axe. This jewellery is a bit on the larger size so I feel it is appropriate for both men and women. Being better than stainless steel it will not tarnish or rust and can be worn 24 hours a day in the shower and out in the elements. It is definitely a statement piece because it is rather unusual and really nice with so many details and Norse accents. It has a decent weight to it is not flimsy and will not Bend. I would definitely recommend this pendant if you were looking for a nice Norse stainless steel necklace for a decent price.First of all, this is a solid quality necklace. The chain is thick and feels super durable while the pendant is thick and solid. I did notice that, on the back of mine, there's a strange brown spot. Maybe rust? I'm not sure. The spot is shown in the picture attached.My main issue with this is that it absolutely is not Odin's horn. The Odin's horn symbol has 3 points on the outer edge while this has six. In fact, from what I can find, this isn't even a Norse symbol. It appears to be a Celtic symbol for womanhood/fertility. So not only is the specific label on this product incorrect, it shouldn't even be categorized as being Norse. So if you're getting this for the specific reason of it being tied to Noese symbolism... don't.Despite this being of decent quality (aside from the potential rust), I just can't give this a good review because the product isn't at all Norse like it claims to be.I was expecting a very lightweight pendant in the axe as well as the chain. I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy the axe is and how well the chain is holding up.I got the Wolf in Axe - Black and am very pleased with it. The detailing is nice. The finish after wearing it 24/7 for several weeks, including in the shower, has not shown the slightest hint of wear or fading.I am happy with the chain weight and length. Overall the bottom of the axe ends up hanging about 4 - 5 " above my sternum. For me this is a comfortable spot.I like the wolf and raven images as well as some of the fine detailing on the handle and the rest of the head.Very much more than I expected.
