The safe is simple and sturdy. A little overpriced in comparison to others but I honestly only purchased it for the Aegis lable (Navy Vet). Wish it were either slightly larger or slightly cheaper. My only thought was that it had smaller interior space than I expected. Not going to fit a valuable document like a birth certificate or something you don't want scrunched up.This safe is used 2 or 3 times every day to secure cash within a bar operation. It has been in use about 2 months now without any issue. It included lag screws but I used toggle screws when fastening it to the office walls. Very pleased with this safe.Bought this to provide a secure place for my kid to put valuables when he's living with housemates who he doesn't really know.The safe is a good size and the mounting holes are large enough to use with a standard cable lock to cable the safe to a bed frame or similar for more security.The safe arrived in good shape, but the batteries that had been put in the box with it had been flattened when the styrofoam packing material broke up and allowed the safe to crush them. It also crushed one of the two manual keys that can be used to open the safe, leaving one.The only other issue is the door fit is extremely tight. There is nothing to hook your fingers in to pull the door open, making it very very hard to get the door open even after unlocking the safe. I opened and closed the door several times hoping it would free it up some, but it didn't seem to help. The safe is not bent. It appears there is just not enough clearance between the faces of the two locking bars and the door frame. The locking bars drag, creating a lot of friction, and as there is no good handle to pull on, it makes it hard to open.Small and should work well for locked cabinet for but just not heavy or strong enough if a burglar has time and tools to work it over. It will slow down smash & grab thieves.It’s great for household documents and important items. Easy to set up!Perfect safe for up to 4 handguns, or 2 handguns and important docs or other small safe keeping items. Setting the combo was easy. Sturdy, well built.Bought this safe after some searching. Easy to use and durable. Hides the stuff I want hidden.
